MUJI Opens U.S. Flagship Store in the New York Times Building At 12:00 PM Noon on Friday, May 30, 2008
Press preview will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on May 30, before opening to the public
NEW YORK - Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - MUJI U.S.A. LIMITED announces that “MUJI Times Square”, the U.S. flagship store of MUJI will open at 12:00 p.m. noon on Friday, May 30, 2008 in the New York Times Building at 620 Eighth Avenue. With 4,350 square feet of retail floor space, the store is along 40th Street overlooking the moss-and-birch-tree garden on the ground floor in Renzo Piano-designed building.
Following the opening of “MUJI SOHO” at 455 Broadway, NY in November 2007, “MUJI Times Square” is the MUJI’s second U.S. store. The store will offer over 1,750 household items and 420 apparel items at the opening.
